ABOUT
Aksa Lima is a talented film and commercial director born in São Paulo, Brazil.
Aksa co-directed and wrote the documentary "Memórias de Cláudio Fulco" (2015), which was selected at the PrimeirOlhar Festival in Portugal and screened on Canal Brasil. Additionally, she also contributed as a writer and editor for the documentary "Em Mim, Oceano" (2021), available on Canal Off. She wrote and directed the fictional short film "Quagmire" (2023), currently in festival distribution. Her music videos "Alguém na Janela" (2018) and "Arritmia" (2021) received awards for Best Direction and Best Music Video in over 15 national festivals.
Aksa has an impressive list of clients for whom she directed advertising campaigns, including Brazilian and internationally recognized brands such as Adidas, Samsung, Lindt, Sony, Disney, UN-Habitat, Campari, Hoegaarden, Santander, SOS Mata Atlântica, GOL Airlines, Bacio di Latte, iFood, among others. Her advertising works have been awarded at various festivals, including Clube de Criação São Paulo, El Ojo Iberoamérica, and NY Festivals.
In 2022, Aksa received the Female Entrepreneur Award - ABCD Stage from the SEBRAE Women in Business Award and was a speaker on the Social Impact Panel at the Los Angeles Brazilian Film Festival. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Cinema from Anhembi Morumbi University (2016), a specialization in Audiovisual Business Management and Cinema from the NGO Contato (2020), and completed the Film Directing course at the University of California in Los Angeles (2023).
Currently, Aksa resides in Los Angeles and splits her career between the United States and Brazil, always seeking to innovate and tell inspiring stories through her cinematic art.
